I have been invited to talk about media reporting of cancer at the NCRI Cancer Conference in Liverpool in November.

I will be speaking alongside Lawrence McGinty, from ITV News, and Vivienne Parry as part of a session called How to Educate and Inform the Public.

Media reporting of cancer risk can make a difference and this is why the Policy Report WCRF published last year made recommendations for the media.

The title of my talk is “The Truth About Cancer”, which is a quote from a Daily Mail headline from way back in 1916.
