Breast cancer article in the Daily Express

Our Deputy Head of Science is quoted in an article in the Daily Express today about a new study that has found a link between breast cancer risk and fish oil.

As we are quoted as saying, is an interesting study, but it is only a single study. This means the findings are not enough for us to be confident that women can reduce their risk of breast cancer by taking fish oil supplements.

South Korean television interview

We had a visit from a TV crew from South Korea this morning.

They are doing a piece on vitamin supplements and wanted to speak to one of our scientists about what effect they have on cancer risk.

Professor Martin Wiseman, our Medical and Scientific Adviser, told them our advice – which is not to use supplements to protect against cancer.

Getting interview requests from journalists on the other side of the world is a reminder that our cancer prevention advice is something that is relevant for everyone.
