Physical activity and cancer survivors

There is a story in the news today about how Macmillan Cancer Support is calling for higher physical activity levels for cancer survivors.

Dr Rachel Thompson, Deputy Head of Science for World Cancer Research Fund, has given the following response:

Cancer survivors and physical activity

An interesting research paper on the benefits of physical activity for cancer survivors was presented at the NCRI Conference in Liverpool this week.

Funded by us at World Cancer Research Fund, it is further evidence that physical activity can give benefit for cancer survivors.
